In India, Projects Today reports Fylfot Geoworks is planning to build a 100,000 liter per day grain-based ethanol plant at Patvi in Ambala district of Haryana with construction set to kick off in October and commissioning expected by September 2023. Broken rice, maize, and wheat will be used as ethanol feedstock. In addition to the ethanol facility, a 4MW captive cogeneration facility will be set up using rice husk as feedstock. The project received its environmental clearance in late July.
